Womens Intensive Tajweed Workshops – Exclusive for One Week.

We will be organising a week intensive  daytime Tajweed  Workshops  with state of the art visual presentations, between Monday 29th March to Thursday 1st April along with expert experienced guest tutors on the subject that are known to be effective teachers.

If you have been meaning to improve your ability to recite Qur’aan for years and cannot find an avenue, now we have packaged it for you in one week. The workshops are for people who are hard working, for personal development of your Qur’an reading, but particularly important if you are teaching children or adults. For teachers it is essential that you brush up your skills and look for new way to help your students. This will be absolutely vital training for teachers.

A one week course will really get you to grips with the subject matter in a short space of time, and then progress to applying it to your Quran recitation straightaway. The morning sessions will be presentations on the theory and in the afternoons will be practical sessions to give you time to read, and to apply the theory with the tutors helping and guiding you all the way.

The theory session will include an in depth look at the Makhaarij; the correct point of articulation to enable correct pronunciation.  Then we will progress cover the Siffaat; which is the different characteristics of the letters. There will be a test and certificate presented on Monday 5th April.

Also we are offering personal assessments; we will give you feedback and make a plan with you, for your ongoing development in Qur’aan recitation. Please contact us specifically to arrange an appointment for this. These workshops are limited to only 15 spaces.

Who should come.

Adult sisters of any level.

Teachers: In madarasa or community adult education teaching Tajweed.

Early bird discount till 15 March is £30 for 4 days tuition and test, thereafter £40 and per day £10/15. Please note we are non-profit making and all proceeds cover costs and support our charitable work. Tutors will be providing tuition free of charge.

Please note that you must register to attend and will not guarantee a space for people dropping in.

InshaAllah follow on courses summer will cover the remaining main topics in Tajweed so over the year you will have a complete picture.  It would be very worth taking a week of work annual leave is possible for you working people who might usually find something like this difficult to fit in.

Please note weekly classes on Thursday and Saturday for those who cannot make it and want to spread out the work through the year. Brothers sessions are on Thursdays. We can also arrange one to one tuition.
