This course is a taster workshop of the Islamic-Arabic programme designed for anyone wishing to improve their understanding of Islam from its main source-language, Arabic. The interactive workshops focus mainly on the most essential and frequent Islamic keywords and phras...es exploring their subtle linguistic and spiritual meanings with the aim of breathing life and understanding into your daily practice as a Muslim.

Arabic Playgroup

Arabic Playgroup – Kids Age 3- 5 years.

This is a special treat for pre-school children and a greater treat for Mums and Dads who will be able to leave their little darlings for one hour and a half and go enjoy some adult pampering.

We will introduce words and sentences through fun activities, songs, crafts and a snack. We will go through the Arabic alphabet at every session with correct recitation along with the short verses of Quran.

arabic classes for women?

Assalamalaikum,

I am hoping to learn arabic language at beginner level and was wondering if anyone knows of any Arabic classes for

women in Glasgow? Also are there any classes that provide creche facility for children?

any information would be appreciated.

Arabic Calligraphy workshop with Jawdat Kadhim

Jawdat Kadhim Kaiby spent 13 years as an Arabic calligraphy teacher in Iraq, at the Basra Fine Art Institute and was the head of this department for four years. He participated in all major Arabic calligraphy events in his local city between 1988 and 2007 including several national events held in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad. He was also the head of the Basra Arabic calligraphy society for three years.

Pre-level 1 Arabic Language
For complete beginners with no experience of Arabic

After the success of the first pre-level 1 course in Arabic Language, 
we are taking registration for a new course we will be running shortly.

Level 1 Beginners Arabic

We are currently running two beginners classes one on Tuesday and the other on Thursday, 
from 7pm to 9pm.
