Omar Souleyman is a Syrian musical legend. Since 1994, he and his musicians have emerged as a staple of folk-pop throughout Syria, but until now they have remained little known outside of the country. To date, they have issued more than five-hundred studio and live- recorded cassette albums which are easily spotted in the shops of any Syrian city.

Pre-level 1 Arabic Language
For complete beginners with no experience of Arabic

After the success of the first pre-level 1 course in Arabic Language, 
we are taking registration for a new course we will be running shortly.

Level 1 Beginners Arabic

We are currently running two beginners classes one on Tuesday and the other on Thursday, 
from 7pm to 9pm.

A new beginners Arabic Language Class

We are just finishing off our pre-level 1 course, for complete beginners with no background in Arabic. The class will now be moving onto a level 1 beginners class.

If anyone is interested in joining that class please contact me ASAP,  07958043419.

The class will be running on aTuesday evening from 7pm to 9pm.

Tuesday 20 October 2009, 7pm - 9pm
Pre-level 1 - for complete beginners with no knowledge of Arabic
Level 2 - beginners class, for those who have completed level 1
 
Thursday 22 October 2009, 7pm - 9pm
Level 1 - beginners class
 
Hajj Course - conducted by Adil Salahi
The Hajj Course for those going on Hajj or those who are interested in learning more about the Hajj.

Arabic Language Classes at Andalus

After a very interesting Arabic language open evening, Andalus have decided to run the following classes:

Pre-Level 1 class - for complete beginners, no knowledge of Arabic
Starts Tuesday 20 October 2009 Cost £30

Level 1 - for beginners with basic reading skills in Arabic.
Starts Thursday 22 October 2009 Cost £60

Level 2 - for beginners who have completed level 1 or have some knowledge of Arabic.
