The so-called war on terror has filled the pockets of those profiting from illegal wars.

It has now killed hundreds of thousands and now upto 1.2 million (mostly innocent civillians). It has displaced millions in the region and infringed the civil rights liberties of hundreds of millions around the world.

Saturday March 15th 2008 will be 5 years (almost to the day!) of the illegal invasion of Iraq! Over 6 years of war in Afghanistan and now there is continuous talk of an immenent attack on Iran.

Stop the War Coalition (in Scotland) have called for a nationwide demonstration in Glasgow to mark this catastrophic (international) occasion.

Muslims and non-Muslims, people of faith and no faith are strongly encouraged to join hands and stand 'shoulder to shoulder' and Demonstrate Against the continued (illegal) occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan (which now has been widely acknowledged to be entirely detrimental) and for us to speak out against the oppression and injustices around the world and against any attack on Iran.
