UPDATE: As a sign of their arrogance and contempt for their customers and the citizens of Glasgow, Waitrose have not even bothered to respond to this, even after being sent numerous reminders. Chasing the pound must be more important. The attached leaflet will be handed out in front of their store in Byres Road.

Waitrose are to open a "branch" (supermarket) on Byres Road in the West End of Glasgow. Today, a group of concerned citizens from Glasgow sent the following letter to Waitrose, asking to meet them - and are awaiting their response:
