Masjid al-Furqan Glasgow Renovation Appeal

Masjid al-Furqan in Glasgow has been the hub of Muslim movement activities for over twenty years. We have also raised huge funds for various causes in these years. This exemplary Masjid has fallen into a state of disrepair. It is time to spend some money on it.

UKIM Glasgow has drawn up plans to virtually re-build the Masjid, retaining the external walls. The roof, flooring, wiring, plumbing and heating will be replaced. It will also involve an extension to the building and relocation of wudhu facilities and facilities for disabled people. Professional architects and contract managers have been engaged. The estimated cost is in the region of £500,000.

The work has already started, therefore we urge all our well-wishers to donate generously towards the renovation of this Masjid which is the centre of all our activities in the region.

Insha'Allah this work will prepare the Masjid for Islamic activities for the next fifty years.
