Please find attached details of the Al-Qalam Primary School Introduction Day to be held on Sunday 18th July at 11:30am, and again on Sunday 8th August.

 

The Al-Qalam Primary School is a new, professionally run private Islamic school situated on Nithsdale Road, Pollokshields (adjacent to Madrassa Taleem Ul-Islam) in the southside of Glasgow and is expected to commence classes after the summer break inshallah ta'aala. As this is a new school project, the focus will be on quality and not quantity, therefore it will initially (for the first year) cater for Primary 1 children only, with the emphasis being on the provision of a high standard of education in line with the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence. 

 

Parents of children due to enter Primary 1 in 2010 are therefore invited to attend this Introduction Day to learn more about the school and to enrol their children.

Islamic school, Al-Qalam

Islamic school, Al-Qalam Primary, is all set to start in October 2010 Inshallah.  The school initiators are still in the process of getting registered and Inshallah confident of completing this process soon.

Two Introduction Days for Parents, whose children start Primary 1 in August 2010, have been arranged for Sunday 18th July and Sunday 8th August from 11.30am-1.30pm at 159 Nithsdale Road in Pollokshields.  


Parents must attend any of these two days and register their interest in advance for their children in Primary 1 at Al-Qalam Primary School.  The organisors are starting small and there will be limited spaces.  They will not be able to take any more children once all places are taken.

 

Some of you may be aware of Shoeb Sarguroh from Scottish Muslim Parents Association (SMPA).  Shoeb is one of the Curriculum Leaders and Mentors of Al-Qalam Primary School.  Their motto is Character-Attitude-Discipline-Principles.

ASLAMO'ALAIKUM MY DAUGHTER IS TO START PRIMARY SCHOOL IN 2011 COULD I ENROLL HER NOW AT THIS SCHOOL JUST IN CASE I DONT GET PLACEMENT NEXT YEAR?
