- Imam Habib Ur-Rehman
- Imam Mustaqeem Shah

Can you help identify others please?
Thank you.

In no particular
In no particular order:
Maulana Aslam Lahori, but all Imams in general
Asgher Mohammed
Asid Khan
Saddaqat Khan
Rizwan (aka Rizi) Mohammed
I haven't heard of them.
I haven't heard of them. Could you possibly let me know a little about them. Thank you.
These people are highly
These people are highly respected in the community but in all honesty I don't think there as influential as the list you've already put up and is possibly the reason why you haven't heard of them.
The Imams need no
The Imams need no introduction I suppose :-o They have the ear of the people, and are effecting change on a daily/weekly basis. It's no accident that your top 5 are scholars.
Asid and Saddaqat are working for change - they may not have grand titles on fancily named committtees, but they are agents of change. I had to think extra hard about this earlier when I wrote it. An influential person or a person with a grand position may be able to effect change, but that doesn't mean they're necessarily doing it. For a lot of people, their position is about business as usual.. just keeping the doors open, having some money coming in, etc. No analysis of the status quo, no innovation, no action and no strategy.
Right, I'm off to bed! I was only up so I can provide input to the valuable work Asid, Saddaqat and a lot of other unnamed brothers are doing. All of these people are working to improve our institutions and the condition of Muslims locally, and also the condition of people abroad... the list is too long...
our community is in a mess,
our community is in a mess, are these then the people responsible?
What kind of mess?
What kind of mess?
